lexflow: process maps of US law

lexflow answers the same questions for every US county, city and town: it finds the state statute, turns it into a checked BPMN process map and DMN decision tables, adds each place's local procedure and contacts, and scores how confident each answer is. Source and method: github.com/alibama/lexflow.

Generated by lexflow from the state statutes (open-us-law, government publisher text) and checked by Claude: every quoted phrase was matched word for word against the statute text, and the process passed the BPMN/DMN schemas, bpmnlint and a Petri-net soundness check. Information, not legal advice.

How the models are checked

  • The reference model for each state is written by Claude from the statute text; every quote must match the text word for word, and two adversarial reviews check accuracy and completeness against the statute.
  • Each model must pass the OMG BPMN 2.0 and DMN 1.3 schemas, bpmnlint (with five Lexipedia legal rules) and a Petri-net soundness check.
  • Local answers were researched from official sources and re-checked by a second reviewer who re-fetched every source.
  • Answers to asked questions are machine answers from the statute text: every quote is exact, every summary claim cites one, and they are marked as not reviewed.
